I was contacted out of the blue by PM here on OF with someone selling some watches. I just ignore it.

Should these be reported?
I too was contacted by PM about purchasing vintage watches.. I deleted the PM without giving it much thought... Oops馃う

Woah, how you manage to spot them? He just seems like a normal regular private seller who is selling his old watch which has just been taken out from the socks drawer not long ago...

Ebay is getting dangerous for buyer now.

Please, do not count me in among these people. My Seamaster XVI out of the sock drawer is real and I will verify such any which way someone may want!!!

I suspect that he'll be filing 100+ PayPal claims on 99 cent items now that the scam has discovered.

I'm going one better too (I hope) I've rounded my band of watch friends to get him booted...so far, we've managed to get him to solicit a transaction outside of ebay...and ebay is surprisingly quick with asking for a call back for details.

I don't understand why the peruvian scammer insists with the speedmasters 321, knowing that many know of his scams.

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=201315996784

They have a different look now. An EB rating of >100 but look closely at their feedback. Churning out multiple daily tiny purchases to grow their feedback rating quickly. And now, out of the blue, they decide to sell their first EB item....a Speedmaster 105.012......what a coincidence.

All you new people stay away. They seek to make a side PP deal and run away with the $. AVOID THIS SELLER.

When its too good a deal just stay away from it. I got burned on ebay way back when paypal wasn't yet the standard form of payment. More of Western Union or bank wire. Same thing 100+ positive feedbacks but mostly buying or selling cheap stuffs.

This website may earn commission from Ebay sales.

I saw this one, and am thankful for the forum discussion on this because I immediately checked the seller's location and knew what to expect.
