·Hi Everyone,
I've become semi-competent looking at vintage Seamasters thanks in large part to this forum but now I am looking at a Rolex Datejust, something I have very little awareness of. I saw this piece that really caught my eye, I love the jubilee bracelet, dial color and bezel. Nothing here screams terrible from what I know but I could be way off, so wanted to run it past here and maybe learn a bit too. According to the listing:
-$3,000 + PayPal fees
-Rolex Datejust Ref. 16030 from 1981 with a 7,26X,XXX serial
-Silver sunburst dial, fully intact tritium lume plots. The 36mm case with a sharp engine turned bezel and lugs. The date wheel also has open 6's and 9's.
-Regarding service history, it was completely overhauled and regulated last November due to the need of a new mainspring.
-The watch comes with a 62510H Jubilee bracelet and 555 end links, it has some reasonable stretch. Bracelet is currently sized for 6.5" - 7" inch wrist, 3 links have been removed and will be included.
-No box or papers.
Really appreciate any thoughts!
