Up for sale my Rolex my Rolex DateJust from 1985. The provenance of this watch was purchased in the Bermuda and afterwards was owned by John Buckley himself. Later was sold to Roy&Sacha Davidoff in Switzerland to whom I purchased the watch. I got a letter from them certifying the provenance of the watch. This watch originally came with silver hands and not the known black hands, so I contacted John Buckley to source a set of black hands (Also can provide the IG conversation with John Buckley confirming he owned this watch) for this watch that is what is currently running on. The hands were swapped in an official Rolex service to service the movement without polishing the case. I still Have the silver hands and will be included in the sale. Still have the Rolex service warranty until FEB 2024. Case: In very good condition with marks of use. I am not 100% sure if it was polished in the past. But in great shape. Please read the condition report from the link form a more expert eyes. It has not been polished during service in my ownership.The caseback is engraved 'Bill Collins 1-1-86' matching the sales date on the papers of December 31, 1985. Hands are silver and not the usual black, but watch came this way and are original tritium from time period Dial/Hands: White Buckley Dial with Roman Numerals. All plots are complete original tritium that react correctly to UV light. The silver hands will be included in the set as well. Bracelet: In very good condition, barely any stretch or elongation. Jubilee bracelet 62510/555B Clasp code N10. Fully linked. Extras: Box, Punched Papers, Wallet, Travel pouch, Calendar 1986 and Rolex service card. Bump and Price reduced to 6250€ priced to sell I paid 7350€ when i got it plus Rolex service 750€ plus the black set of hands 450$ to John Buckley. So overall i think whoever gets this will get a great watch in great condition and a collectors watch.
