Rolex Datejust 16030 REFERENCE: 16030 YEAR: 1984 SERIAL: 8.3 million CASE: The previously polished 36mm steel case is in fair shape. The case sports light wear throughout with more moderate wear present on the mirror polished midcase on both sides. There is one small deeper gouge in the midcase on the 9 o'clock side. The brushed finish on the anterior portion of all four lugs can still be appreciated. DIAL: The blue dial has some paint decay, which is very common on blue dialed Rolex, between 11 and 12 o'clock hour markers and around the date window. The lume plots have aged to a beautiful pumpkin patina and match the baton hands perfectly. The acrylic crystal has some light scratches that should buff out with polywatch. MOVEMENT: Automatic caliber 3035. The watch winds, sets, runs and keeps good time. Quick date setting functions as it should. Service history is unknown. As always a service is recommended prior to daily wear. BRACELET: 62510H, 20 links, 4 screws, Code I2, 1984. 555 end links. Moderate stretch. Or can come on a strap. PRICE: $3,200 shipped conus on a strap. $3700 on original jubilee.
