I was wondering what the crown Size would be for my 1960s Omega Seamaster. It's an Automatic 565. Would I need to get the serial number from the back of the case?
Hi, You would need to get the reference number. From that era, it should be a 4 digit number (with probably a variation, such as XXXX/X) Then you would need to find info on that reference number, that should give you the crown it usually comes with.
There's one on the bay Jim, https://www.ebay.com/p/15017354843Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
You may want to get a new stem as well. If the current crown on the watch is not original the stem may be to short.
