Crack in bezel of vintage Seamaster

I discovered a hairline crack in the bezel of my Seamaster. The watch runs beautifully and the bezel doesn't feel at all loose. Is it something to worry about?..if I can/should change it where can I get one? Omega will charge me the price of a service/bezel that will be more than the watch is worth.

Generally, replacement bezels for these watches aren't easy to find unless Omega still supplies them. Try a search like this for other people in the same spot.

Continuing to wear it as it is you risk loosing the bezel and finding one will be nearly impossible.

Getting it laser welded would be far cheaper than finding a replacement.

thanks....I just spoke to a watch repairer and he said that the bezel is not holding the glass in...which was my biggest worry. Its a finishing bezel for aesthetics but is still firmly lodged. Ideally he said I need to find one used.. or as you mention, get it repaired.
