Hii everyone!!!

This is my first post here! I just picked up my Seamaster Diver 300 from my AD and while i was there the AD tried to change the date on the watch. The watch time was 9pm…at first it didnt change then it started to change dates. I believe we changed it around 6 clicks. Then when i got home, the manual said it is not recommended to change the date from 8pm to 2am.

Im scared that i might have broken something inside the watch. Can someone please let me know what checks to do to ensure that my watch is ok? 🙁((

Thank you so much guys!

Try changing the date via the crown anytime except 8pm to 2am, if you can do that and if the watch continues to change dates in operation at midnight you have no issue. I doubt your watch was damaged by the dealer.

Thank you so so much! I did try the date change at midnight. The date changes at 11:58pm which is in line with Omega’s claim of +-10mins at 12:00am. I cant remember correctly but i think i also tried to change the date outside the danger zone and it was all good! Thank you so much man!
