Constellation. Is everything original and how much should I pay?

Hi, I'm new to vintage Omegas, I found this constellation on eBay and wanted to purchase it. I found it on the omega vintage database https://www.omegawatches.com/it/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-details/20554/ and it looks original to me, but I would like to hear the opinion of someone more experienced. If it is all original what should i pay for it?

Please look and compare again.

I’m seeing, and better pix would help a bunch, a small “a” in automatic which is always a no-no.

And a pointed “A” in Omega.

Just for starters.

If you want an original, do not buy this one.

Thank you for pointing that out! I'll definitely not buy. Do you think I should share the picture in the fake Omega thread?

These Connies were a departure from the usual fonts at the time.
It could be correct.
Better pics required though to be certain.

I'm not into this style of Connie but all looks correct to me
The case looks to have some polishing as I think the lugs should have a better defined bevel
There is evidence of rotor rub on the case back so will require a service

hope that helps

To give an idea another £200 on its current price is about as far as I would go.

At what price do you think it would be a good buy?

I used to own one of these, not stainless steel though but gold-capped. Beautiful, elegant watch. Due to the compact cal. 712 it wears very low to the wrist.

And yes - the dial is correct. If I had a dollar for every time someone yelled "redial" when they saw it, I would be rich 😉

Best regards

Is that yours or a web-pic?(doesn’t look gold capped)
If yours - Do you recall what year / serial yours was @Woodward ?
OP’s is quite early.
Interesting to define the transition from curly N to straight N and no Ts for lume.

It is the actual watch that used to belong to me. I sold it less than a year ago.
I haven´t got the actual serial number but i made a note that the watch was from 1971, so it must have been around 33 millions.

Here´s another picture:

Best regards

Really???
Having seen others asking for valuations and being referred to eBay sold listings I thought this was the policy. Sorry my bad, guess I should read the rules myself.

This is one of the reasons why OF is great. It provides us with a point of reference with regards to watch prices. Same reason why sellers are not allowed to delete the listing or remove the pricing.
