·Hi all,
I've come across this pie pan connie and thought it was a bit strange that there were serifed letters and a slant 'm' which don't seem very common for this reference, as well as and lack of an 'officially certified' line, which I thought was something that omega did briefly a few years after this reference, though it seems like some pie pan arrowhead dials did potentially lack this line in the late 50s (this watch is ca. 1957).
I've put a couple of threads below that I found while doing my research:
https://omegaforums.net/threads/con...th-‘officially-certified’-on-the-dial.119744/
https://omegaforums.net/threads/ome...-black-dial-unusually-heavily-serifed.169903/
I think (or maybe want) it to be an uncommon exception but would appreciate a sense check of what I've said and for other things I may have missed or overlooked... before I potentially do something stupid?
Cheers
