Hi,

I’m considering this 1960s rose gold manual Omega since, well, I think it looks pretty nice.

I don’t know too much about vintage watches. There are a few marks on the dial but overall it looks in quite good condition to me at least. If any experts out there are willing to offer an opinion I’d be happy to know what you think.

Thanks, Matt

Nothing wrong with it except the price.

Overpriced by a factor of 2, maybe more.

Thanks, I take your point about the price. Still, I think with inflation at least on Chrono24 that is about typical for that kind of watch in that kind of condition. Perhaps I'll look on eBay. ..

Inflation? If anything, inflation is depressing the prices of vintage watches as people have less disposable income to spend on luxury items.

Only the most desirable items will avoid this trend, as the elite few will be unaffected.

Good luck with your search,

Looks legit to me also. It's a nice gold dress watch, I like the color of the gold. Take note of the marks on the dial. I think the dial will look fine on the wrist, but it does seem like the lighting is designed to minimize the appearance of the damage.
