Both great timepieces. I personally prefer the Connie (especially in 18k gold). I like vintage conquest in stainless steel.

I've been collecting Omega for over a decade, and never thought much of Longines till some of the old guys at the NAWCC shows, and the threads on here opened my eyes to the brand.

wow. i absolutely love both of them. since buying a PAM, ive really fallen in love with movements with a swan neck regulator. I had no idea they were such an old design (as per the constellation). thanks for sharing.

There is an 18k Rosegold Zenith Hammerautomatic listed for sale localy, i think its absolutely stunning. Reminds me somewhat to the Longines that you are comparing.
But since i have resently purchased a Connie i am a bit indeceisive.

The Longines dial hits the spot for me. Look at the finish ::love:: They're both beautiful but the conquest wins the round this time :D

I want to like the pie pan Omega, I really do, but it doesn’t do much for me. Perhaps when I see one in person I will understand. For whatever reason, and I really don’t understand it, the Movado a few comments above, looks great to me.

Enjoy your fine time pieces, to each it’s own.

Great thread, and superb pieces...also love the flagship deluxe 1503, always thought the dials on those Longines were super classy.

I would pick the omega anytime of day, even when 10 times the worth of the longines.
