Last year I purchased a pink gold Conquest Deluxe and fell in love with it, it ven pushd my Connies to the back of the watchbox. Recently I bought a quirky early 1950's Movado with a gold dial. Quite uncommon in itself with the mirror and engine-turned areas, moreso in this rendition (the mirror part being in the center and subdial, usually they come the other way around). As far as I'm aware Longines also had a deluxe in the Flagship line, Zenith has a Captain, UG a Polrouter and then of course the Seamaster and Connie deluxes (with the pink gold 2853 being one of my dream watches). Are there more Deluxe dials out there? Which brand was the first? Oh and please post yours
I'd send my mother-in-law off to perform 40 years of hard labour in a Siberian Gulag to get one of these in pink gold...
early 1890s Waltham.... don't know if this counts, but it is a bit "DeLuxe"...... The gold on the dial is actually applied pieces, not painted or printed on, the black marking, the numbers, minute tracks and such, are hand painted, including the Waltham logo. The whole works was then over glazed in clear enamel. This is quite something to look at under a loop!
For omega, u missed out the centenary 2499 and 2500 that started it all! RG - no longer have the Longines 290, still kicking myself for selling it. YG - no one seems to love YG nowadays
Boom! @khmt2 layeth the smacketh down! Edit: The reddish brown straps look good on the RG's. I reckon I'm heading in that direction instead of a black one.
After khmt: s post everything is done. He does feel a little short on UG: though... This one does not say de duxe on the dial but the dial is 18k. And the usual suspects:
@styggpyggeno1 : your SAS polerouter and stepped pie pan grand luxe beats anything I have hands down! Truely the luxe of de luxe dials!

After series of patina, chocolate, or spider dial tool watches threads...... this thread gives a very fresh air (not to mention very bling bling reflection) to this forum.........
