Condition of this Rolex Cellini 5333

From my father's collection is this Rolex Cellini reference 5333. Most watch dealers are offering me melt value on this watch which seems like a shame. This was my father's favorite watch, and I still think it gives off a unique vibe. While this one is easy to identify, I am looking for feedback on it's condition. It's been worn frequently and it has the scratches to show it, but would this still be very good condition?

Your pics are not kind to the dial. Try to get this into a sunny spot and get us several. This is a dress watch and not a sport model however so valuations will be lower. Audience for this not as large. But melt value? Ugh.

I was digging through boxes in the storage unit and I came across this;

Does a card from the retailer count as papers? Does this look like the correct box?

I will take better pictures of the watch.

No because your dad bought pre owned. I’d surmise that original box and papers are long gone. That said I wandered over to Chrono 24 to see the asks and yes the melt value offers are a ploy to give the resellers top side room. . It needs a service and a light polish. Also seems even on that site, this dial is tough to photograph.

Service your Dads watch and keep it or put it up on C24 with the service card for way more than melt value.

Agree .., just understand that C24 prices are asks not realized sales.
