And it's amazing (in a bad way) that people still repeat the nonsense about 5 atmosphere water resistance being insufficient for washing your hands.
But at the very least, wouldn’t this be tested by a reputable watchmaker as part of a complete service, and wouldn’t following that be the exact period where one could have confidence in the water resistance rating? I mean, there must be some period of time where this holds true, right?
