Lol, ok @ulackfocus 😀 I’m feeling the OF “tough love” right there 😜

The “collection complete” comment was definitely tongue in cheek but I’m certainly going to enjoy this novel feeling for the next 16 hours 😉

Tick, tock...

I love watches but I’ve found I almost equally love the thrill of the hunt.

Between the research, anticipation and getting to continuously experience new watches, I don’t foresee my collection ever being “complete”.

God help us.

So you were born in '61?

@Pun - Where is the picture of the freakin' case back man????
Yes I was born in 61. Bought this watch few years back. It was first sold in Belgrade on 5 June 1962 as per Longines archives. Here is the back...

I know I'm going to go against the grain of many collectors on here, but I've just bought two watches that i've been after for a while and am suddenly feeling like my collection is complete; I've no great desire to own more watches than I own. This is something of a new experience.

Does anyone, or has anyone else felt like this? Will this pass? Should I seek medical help?

The tide comes in..... the tide goes out..... the sun comes up..... the sun goes down.....

Don't worry you will get over it. You might feel a minor adjustment like 30 watches is enough and that 31 was too many. You'll be okay.....

I feel the same at the moment. For the first time in the last 3-4 years, I don't want to buy any watch.

Only four and your done you must be kidding. Sooner or later you will get that itch for another one you all ways wanted to try and the price will be a price you could not refuse and you will pull the trigger all of a sudden you will have 5 watches instead of 4 and you will not know what happened to that collection complete idea. Dam I got another coming in the mail that one mite not be a keeper but one I just wanted to try a beater it just comes out of the blue even if you think your done just watch it will happen to you. Only way your done you go cold turkey on watch forums and stay away from the internet stay away from flea markets and antique shows and stores were it's possible to see a vintage watch you can't live with out.

I’ve said this to myself many times. Eventually I just end up hunting down better examples of what I already own. So it never seems to end.
