Did these ever move under thier own power?

PRV motor right?

As above, it’s not a PRV motor.

But Harry Metcalfe seems to get around in his Espada.

Wrong again, the Maserati Merak had a V6 of their own design, Citroen bought out Maserati, and used the V6 in the Citroen SM before both abandoning the SM and Maserati, selling the latter to Andreas DeTomaso
I said that.

Our son just sent me an email with attachment, telling me he had spied the car in the picture. He called it an Olds! It is clearly a PONTIAC, 1954 vintage. Nice anyway.

Local car park.. The max height barrier has taken some scalps.. bikes attached to roof bike racks being the main attraction.

I have to confess that I’m addicted to ‘Wheeler Dealers’, a tv programme in which the two presenters repair and restore and resell a classic car; one of the guys is a dealer and the other a mechanic. I find it fascinating.

Which series? The original with Ed was the best. But I like Ant and Elvis too.

I really enjoyed the Edd series and was a bit discombobulated when Ant came in but he’s generally more upbeat than Edd. I haven’t seen Elvis.

I really enjoy the mechanic sections

There will be a new mechanic along soon.

You’ve all seen the figures, Mike never pays for labour so they get fed up and leave.

A bit more humble classic, Fiat Panda 45. Nice summer car with the open roof and nice rimms as well.

So the height barrier has a second job by doing a public service and wiping out all those damned bicycles!
Pity there isn't something there to destroy those unspeakably hideous spandex cycling shorts, jerseys and those annoying clicky clacky shoes that the cycle wankers wear!

My dad owned a 54 Chieftain, a car very similar to the Star Chief seen here. It had the old straight 8 Silver Streak engine and a three on the tree.

Spotted yesterday at a local garden centre
The height of the and shape ot the roof in comparison to the height and length of the rest of the body kinda reminds me of a Hillman Imp.

no surprise really, as the 240 always looked a bit like a Hillman Hunter with railway sleepers as bumpers! 😁

Don't see many old Pandas, especially ones wearing Lancia Delta Turbo wheels.. Here is another local car with the same wheels..

See drivers with their young sprogs, going out for the day with a roof supporting all of their bikes. They plan to pick-up some stuff from the local supermarket, drive into the car park and bang!! Bikes on the floor, rook rack ripped the rails out of the roof panels... day trip cut short!!
