Mine is not concourse ready.

I’ve always wanted a white NA with a Maruha 2.1l BP engine. Sensible 8200 rpm red line, maybe even velocity stacks….it would be fun to chase down Boxsters on trackdays and in the canyons.

I spotted this over the Bank Holiday weekend outside a pub in Cheshire.

That's a lovely little thing. Never heard of that manufacturer before. Reminds me a little bit of a Singer that a mate of mine had for a while.

I spotted this in a shopping centre parking lot today. The odometer indicated 60,700 miles, the license plate tells me it is 1966. As it happens, I had my iPad with me today, so I had to snap it. Not exotic, but cute!

Now here is a must watch video.

Straight out of the Jetsons😉
Unsurprisingly Jay Leno has got one of these, from what I understand there are only two in private hands..

..and Leno and Steve McQueen's 1956 Jaguar XKSS, driving off on his own in a circa $50 million dollar car.. How do you even get insurance??

This piece of rolling art pulled up outside my home last Sunday.

That's gorgeous.. But what is it? It's not a normal D Type??
Is it the Long Nose Racer?

It only grazed my kitchen window view briefly.
The owner is a true character.
I found a local newspaper article with the story on the car. It is a so called Evocation replica.
Similar to this one:

In our terms either a homage or a Franken I guess, but still looks fantastic?!
😀👍

Cheers

Yes indeed a homage/franken 😁😁😁.. but It's absolutely stunning.. There was something very unusual going on but I'd never have guessed it was a replica.. I'm guessing that Jaguar doesn't mind the badges being used, unlike Ferrari who are unbelievably litigious about badges..
I recently posted a video of Jay Leno driving Steve McQueen's 1956 Jaguar XKSS, which is basically a D Type for the road use..
I love these cars.. It's amazing how compact they are when you see them in the flesh so to speak:

Saw a Goddess yesterday in the street

I don't know if you know about this, but there's a great early work by Gabriel Orozco – La DS.. and I can't look at a DS without thinking about this piece.. Sacrilegious for sure, but, a genius piece of artwork nonetheless:
