Plain white, appears to be equiped for classic rallying? I've seen one such locally a couple of times. Exhaust may not get through noise check though. My neighbour muttered something about "boy racers", but they normally have numbers on the doors which is a giveaway that the car is not actually used in competition 'cos it's not allowed unless actually on an event This one didn't.

This one was yellow and no decals. Hadn't seen it before. Was suspiciously clean so wonder if it's a recent respray.

Spotted this pile of shite today:

Jaguar XJ6 series 1 in squadron blue
Looks a bit like the rear springs have been reset, maybe recently and need to settle or the spring works set them a smidgon too high. @ 25 - 30 mm too high at a guess.

Spotted this pile of shite today:

I know that gallery, on Old Burlington Street, they used to be across the road at number 25 the Portland stone-clad modernist building..
Were you on your way to the vintage Omega shop in Burlington Arcade by any chance? 😉

I did walk by, but they’re closed today.

Oh yeah, they would be on a Sunday, silly prices, but still really nice window shopping..
And of course a bit of research, such as trying things on to see if they look good.

Speaking of ‘58 Impalas, we took the Mighty Impala to the Audrain Museum’s “Park and Picnic” last Saturday, the evening version of Cars and Coffee. She never missed a beat and we felt like rock stars cruising through Newport. Going over the bridges was so cool! She showed well and got lots of attention. That’s the owner at the wheel - ladies in the front seat!

Beautiful setting, beautiful cars, beautiful evening!

Great colour choice, that thing stands out like a third ball on a greyhound!
I love it
Especially in uber sedate Richmond upon Thames 😁😁😁

Very nice fir a first car. Mine was a Vauxhall Astra mk1 1.6. Kept cutting out randomly. Which was fun to manage as a new driver!

I still have a bunch of pictures of my first car. 1987 Z-28 Camaro. Basically my birth year. Which IIRC was rare because most of the Gen3s were IROC-Zs. She was a bit of a bucket of bolts and duct tape. Loud and not really that fast. I had to have a stick shift and it had to be a V8. The T-tops were a bonus and never leaked. I put the sweet seats in myself. That transmission was garbage and I had it rebuilt once and rebuilt the rear-end myself once. The clutch throw was about 2 miles long. The syncros would go on 2nd gear and you had to get fancy with it. The doors weighed about 800 pounds. One time the horn malfunctioned and I had to rip the horn cover off and pull the wires to get it to stop. The horn would kind of fade in and out as I was driving it was hilarious. Then I just left the cover off and from then on to honk the horn I would just grab the wire and touch the contact. Ahh the way back machine. She's a classic now. Gen3 was the best.

Edit: And no, I never crashed it.
