Clasp Gap on 2503.50 Aqua Terra

Bought a 2503.50 First gen Aqua terra recently and everything is stellar -- except for this massive gap on the clasp.

Bit of a bummer as the invisible clasp was one of the major reasons I wanted to get this watch. Anyone know what the deal is with this? May just take it to Omega service but wanted to check if anyone else had encountered this.

Hi and welcome to OF. Is the watch secure on your wrist? If there is something wrong with the clasp I would be careful.

Hopefully some AT owners comes along and gives you a real answer, but I would have taken it to a watchmaker.

The clasp should fit closely and not like you have.

Looks like you're missing a link/end piece on the clasp. Definitely not right.

That is definitely not normal. Can you tell what pieces are not mating properly when closed? Or can you see any pieces that are missing or bent?

The links and pieces are actually all there.
It's just the clasp and the link it supposed to fit into are further apart than they should be.
From what i can tell the orange part i highlighted that has the hole and button on the side is too far out - may have been bent somehow.

Will have it checked out. definitely not right.

In your top picture there, it looks like you're not all the way 'clipped' in. Other than the two clips, I would expect there to be nothing in that/it should be hollow. Are you sure there isn't just some gunk in there or something?

You might want to try an ultrasonic-clean of the bracelet and see if that helps. Better pictures that aren't fuzzy of both sides might help as well.

Finally... are you SURE it is a real bracelet? There is a few things in your last pictures there that look different enough from @pascs above that I can't help but wonder if it isn't authentic (the hole in the slider, the 'depth' of the bracelet screws in particular).
