My 10 year old Citizen, bought as a beater yet it just goes and goes and goes, when this gives up the ghost I will happily buy another.

£2 in a charity shop this morning 😀

1993-2016, the only watch I owned during those years was this Citizen diver. I wore it every day. It finally gave up in 2016 with no parts available from Citizen🙁

Don't have a Citizen but my HMT SONA uses a licensed manufactured copy of an older Citizen movement. Very accurate and reliable so far.

Some of them have been fast increasing in price and this thread is not going to improve things on that front.
I don’t mean to be patronizing, but I’m speaking from experience- I keep bumping on Instagram into people I never knew who sought a particular reference after they saw a big thread I started. (And I won’t say anymore about it in order to avoid further damage).

My Citizen watches - the diver in the middle was a gift from my son. He'd bought it with his own money, and when I gave him a birth year SMP Bond Quartz for his 18th birthday he gave me the Citizen. It's very comfortable and the lume is very bright. The chronograph with the blue strap was given to my son for becoming an Eagle Scout 7 years ago.

When we gave my son an Omega X-33 for graduation, he wanted to give the Eagle Scout watch to his uncle, since he wasn't wearing it anymore. So last week we both agreed to give it to my brother for his birthday coming up next week, and shipped it off.

I can see that I will need to post a picture of my Citizen AT4004 with atomic timekeeping. All Citizen watches I have ever seen have always been good to great quality. I won't be selling mine for any reason.
