    Further digging:
    Phynox
This Cobalt-Chromium-Nickel alloy gives a combination of high strength, ductility and good mechanical properties and is age hardenable. Phynox† also has excellent fatigue life, corrosion resistance in numerous environments and is non-magnetic

I gifted this piece to one of our daughters many years ago but she never wears it so this evening I thought I would try it out and lo and behold it started up immediately.

I shall not be wearing it again. :)

I've had several Citizens(nothing vintage). This is my last remaining one. A little big for my taste but it's Titanium so it wears very nice on my wrist. The Blue dial is stunning in person.

That last point is probably for best.... it is after all a little undudely and might leave the wrong impression unless of course that is the desired outcome in which case whatever floats ya boat!

That would be wholly dependent on who is wearing the white dress.... it its some old fat hairy bloke wearing it, it would still be stunning, not in a good way, but in more of a whack on the head with a cricket bat sorta way!

I have just ordered the Citizen NB 6045.

A watch that has everything a Rolex GMT II has, "traveller" GMT, screw down crown, hack seconds, and even more: a disc calculator operated by the second crown at 8.

Differences (aside the price)? Yes. Nobody will cut your arm off for stealing the watch.

Here is a product photo from the citizen website.

Yeah but Rolex buyers probably belive paying a ludicrously excessive price and the increased risk of getting their arm chopped off in a mugging as positive features!

    :D Probably :D.

But I need both of my arms for the handycraft duties imposed on me regularily by "she who must be obeyed" :D

My new quartz Citizen! Very happy with the watch :) Can anyone help me with the production year? Serial number points to September -74,- 84, -94, -04. So which one is it? I'm guessing 1984 but what do I know.
