Phillips might have taken all the auction glory and hype but Christies is holding the Rare Watches auction currently

Only seven Omega pieces with a few already hammered.
Interesting to see how high Lot 176 Prototype Ploprof reaches.

Other notable is of course the Lot 203 Pink Stellinne with its relumed dial. Interesting to see if it reaches the 1-2 mil estimate despite a relume. When a relume is that good I think it will.

The auction is ongoing and I didn't notice a thread for this so this thread is for debate and discussion.

Hmmm. Apparently the ploprof proto didn't sell /meet reserve. I guess it is a very very niche product to collect.

The Pink Stelline sold for CHF 975000. Apparently this includes fees. So , one might say that it is ever so slightly underwhelming when considering the hype on it. Although in all honesty the investor who consigned this apparently bought it in 2015 for ~300k CHF. So he/she almost tripled their money. Not bad.
