Interesting first post at OF. Do you have a watch in the auction?

Perhaps it was a traumatising experience as a child that resulted in fear of Noob though he has been on the forum since 2015.

now I am getting paranoid. This is weird.

This is even more spooky.. on the aforementioned watch the disclaimer

"Please note the endangered species strap is shown for display purposes only and is not for sale. Upon sale, this watch will be supplied to the buyer with a non CITES strap (not shown). For further information please refer to the Conditions of Sale."

I don't get where you are going with this. Someone joined OF, and their first/ only post is in reference to a watch auction. Just seemed a little odd to me. And I suspect that is because in my 5 years here I have seen a lot of people join and make one or two posts that were directly to promote items that had up for sale/ auction. But thanks for the free psychological assessment.

The highlight of the auction that consists of Omega Speedmasters is the "ULTRAMAN", REF. 1450.12-67 SP... opening bid is 30,000.

With an extract that they don't show... While showing it for other watches

It's Christies... I'm sure if you contacted them they'd gladly email you an image of the extract. It would be ridiculous and bad for their reputation to state they have an extract and then after you purchase the watch they say ....oops.

Nobody doubts that they have an extract, but what exactly does it say. That's the question. For example, they don't indicate that the orange hand is referenced on the extract. Why so cryptic and difficult?

For various reasons a lot of people hesitate on posting out of fear of appearing dumb or asking an inappropriate question. I agree the question is a bit odd for a first post after being registered for over five years, but I don't believe there was anything nefarious in his post, he probably thought it was a neutral question. Obviously it was not taken that way. Give the OP a break.
