··Never Used A KodakI am wearing my FOIS today.
Last week when I wore it the crown worked well but I was getting a squeaky sensation while winding it.
Reminiscent of eating cheese curds many years ago when carefree and with younger arteries.
Same sensation this week. Watch is working fine.
A quick search of this forum shows at least one result, with a funny reply from Jiminoz. (See link).
Jim, as a firearms instructor I totally agree.
So, watchmakers and experts, what is happening?
I have never had poutine, by the way…
And enjoy the rest of your week.
Late entry:
I did a bit more digging, and another thread has replies from some of our forum watchmakers and experts…
Conclusion; I will continue using the watch until it needs help… and keep avoiding cheese curds.

You need to join the Air Force and work on jets for twenty years.
Then you won't even hear the squeak.
😉
Just drop by to an Omega place and get them to check it out.
