I have this strange experience, my watch hand winding movement had this rotor helicopter effect while winding. So I kept the watch aside deciding to get it serviced. But strangely after a couple of weeks I thought I will use the watch for a day and see but the rotor helicopter effect disappeared any opinions why this happened ??

Perhaps a trace of lube migrated then while laying quietly for a few days either dried up or migrated further to a less sensitive area.

What’s the movement? Had a similar effect on Lemania 5100 omega derivatives…

I think it would help if you told us what watch/brand/reference has this problem.

Until then, I will think someone is yanking our chain.

What watch is it in?

Was it new when bought?

Do you have proof of previous service?

Is there a warranty still in effect? If so send it back.
If not see if the problem returns, it may have corrected itself, if not have it serviced properly.
About all you can do under the circumstances.

I have had this problem with the reversing wheels a few times, but I've never been lucky enough that it fixed itself. 😁

Since the watch is virtually new, it shouldn't need a full service, and since there are currently no symptoms, it may not be the best time to take it for repair. I would be inclined to wait until the problem recurs, but if you have a good relationship with a watchmaker, you could ask him to open it and take a brief look. Maybe there is something obvious, like some foreign matter floating around.
