I just started a new blog focused on high end luxury watches. If anyone is interested I would appreciate the support!

Only 1 blog is listed today but we will be posting 1 post everyday Monday - Thursday every week.

I think it’s pretty cool. I cannot afford luxury watches but will gladly read the articles. Looks like a lot of work. Good luck!

This is an Omega vintage collectors forum. Not an free advertising forum for so called high end watches. Which are not high end. What do you get out of this? Free watches from the manufacturers , you hope ? Just get whatever followers you need, to achieve whatever relevance you crave , on Reddit, Insta or all the other modern world start Up's, that do not care about knowledge, research, the Truth, actual Joy from handling vintage mechanical pieces that are part of our history and technical evolvement of human kind.... All Talk. No Reality. No hard work. " Celebrity " 15 seconds of Fame with hopefully real world benefits for the talker. Good luck !

I was ready to jump in and defend this guy because I feel this forum has a tendency to jump on the bandwagon of bullying at times. What's the big deal? A guy tries to start up a blog. Let him.

However... I did a bit of research and I don't really feel like defending him anymore.

Here is the first video on his youtube channel, where he documents his "journey" to flip $5,000 of watches into $100,000 as quickly as possible.

Quote of the video:

"I want to dump it pretty quickly... We're gonna try to get rid of this [watch] as quickly as possible. The more flips I can do in a short period of time, the better it is for me."

I will defend him as I’m going to quit all my jobs, go on state assistance and flip watches like hot potatoes. I’ll start tomorrow.

In another one of his videos, he reveals that he was a member of the "Watch Trading Academy" (and was later kicked out). I looked it up. It's a $1,000 course on how to get rich quick by flipping watches.

You'll find these kind of scummy (scammy?) get-rich-quick guru programs on speculative trading and sales. Often with the guru standing in front of exotic cars and a mansion. I haven't seen it with watches.

His hits are going to sky rocket.

What's the saying about no bad publicity?

I'm always getting ads for that 'academy'. I feel like we should crowd-fund someone on the forum to take part, document the experience, and report back on what they learned.

Oh boy! I see what you mean. I watched 4 seconds of the video and turned it off… Not for me.

There was just a thread about the subliminal messaging of setting the time to 10:10. The reason being it looks like a smiling face. Why am I seeing a lot of anger in this one?

Why no articles on G-Shocks... they keep good time and look snazzy too.

If you're able to flip $5,000 of watches into $100,000, what do you need support for?

+1

I almost want to give this boy some direction in life. If my son were to post these kinds of videos on the internet, I would really be a little worried.

As we can see in his videos, not much to learn from that course. Same for some from that Roman guy all over youtube. They talk about only the latest trendy high end stuff like it's all there is. Ok, so take for instance their harping about internet buying and selling. How is one going to basically buy AND sell the same stuff from the same people and expect to get ahead? Someone is going to have to lose. Either the seller or the buyer. Not a respectable business model.
