Hi!

Being a beginner with Certina I would like to ask the pros what you think about that DS dial:

Obviously the picture is crappy. I couldn't find another example, not even here

https://www.vintagecertinas.ch/en/certina-ds/

Caseback look like that:

Twisted dial is a bad sign I think - Could the dial feet be broken?

Thank you so much and forgive me my noob questions 😉

Will do so, thanks! 😉

It's a rare no-date amagnetic DS, the first I have ever seen with this dial cased up. A few of the dials have been sold separately, but not in a case. The date version (which I own one of) is very uncommon too, with about appr. 5-10 known examples.

Certinas aren't really that sought after, so I am sure that a lot are still knocking about in drawers waiting to get discovered. The end price of this one will probably be around €3k.

The dial issues is pretty big. 95% of the value of this watch lies in the dial and broken feet is a worry.

Those DS cases are always wonderful imho - but the different orientation of hours 13-24 on this ^ dial is a slight headache look for me...

Dang! where is this, would love to watch it happen in real time.

If you want to PM me that is fine, I'm not a player, just curious.

Also, fingers crossed its just the movement has turned from a broken stem or something. Maybe the crown is just resting on the tube...

Wonder if it has the original anti-mag dust cover too?

I can't see this happening due to the friction of the movement holder and rubber shock absorber.

Soldering the dial pillars on again will always risk heat damage on the dial frontside.
Maybe it would be easier on this thicker antimag dial::stirthepot::

Hello everybody, just be careful with the watch. In a Swedish forum there are doubts about originality of the "composition"...
Watch out!

Sold for €2600. Would be interesting to see what it’s like with some better pictures if it was picked up by anyone here?
