In honour of Privateday's Centenary, here is yet another table update with his watch included - Makes you wonder where the other 3,967 are, doesn't it?
Looks like this thread will continue to be a work in progess. I haven't figured out how to crack the search code at Sotheby's or Christie's yet to find a few more. Question to the Mod team -- Should we make this one a sticky at the top of the Vintage Omega Forum? Hopefully JRS will check in from time to time at post updates. Thoughts? gatorcpa
Hmmm - so between Erich and Mike that's just another nine - no wonder there aren't any left for the rest of us Only, the man says, only . . . If we just had those nine sets of numbers, we would be up to 1% of the total production for our table C'mon, fellers, don't be shy, you can PM me with the details if you like . . .
Definitely John, as it completes a sub theme with this 343 bumper. YG. Just tarnished. Unfortunately not the silver box. But I am still happy.
The silver box is on eBay at the moment - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141273438509?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network From a well-known seller, I believe. Edit - Funnily enough, I'd rather have the very early wood and red leather box that Desmond illustrates on p9 of the Centenary pdf. But I have never seen one for sale.
Hi John, I recently was most fortunate to pick up a superb Centenary. The movement# is 10680905 and the case# is 10720875. The caseback has the case# but does NOT have 2500 on the back. The movement has 30.10 Jub. Wonderful job on the list. Thank you for your investment with the Centenary’s. Will keep our eyes and ears open to help you find a nice one.
That’s creepy! I was the one who purchased the case from Dennis, and two months later someone sent me an email asking, “Would you be interested in purchasing a minty Centenary?" Now it is in it’s lovely bed!
