Celebrities wearing omegas

I rather avoid celebrity endorsement - seems ingenuine unless it's clearly spontaneous and unpaid. Don't really like the things I'm interested in to have a popularity contest associated with them (whether true or not) - like what you like for your own reasons. CLearly, raising profile of things can help people learn and develop interests, but I suppose I'm biased against celebrity endorsement.

also - is there a thread that deals with identifying the watches used in movies/ media? Regardless of my thoughts on endorsement, I still like to be able to know what is what when I see it.

Cool resource.
love the newer Hamilton Ventura watches (one an auto the other quartz) worn in the recent "Men In Black 4" movie. Nice to see those classic lines out there. Apparently Will Smith wore one in the original MIB but I never noticed it.
It will always remind me of the King.

I don’t even know what the hec floyd has here but it’s always fun to see him brag. One of the greatest defensive boxers in history but a bit of an idiot

I recently saw an interview from 1975 with Johan Cruyff (1947-2016) - the legendary Dutch football player (or soccer if you prefer, I don’t really wanna go there ;-)).

I noticed he was wearing an Omega Seamaster 145.024 ‘flat fedi’ that I shall henceforth refer to as the Cruyffmaster in the man’s memory.

Wow he’s my idol! And that is a cool watch

Don't forget Tom Cruise in war of the worlds....I believe it is/was one of his watches.
It was lent to him by the omega museum in 2005 for the movie.

Also the seven years in Tibet movie has a nice Omega chronograph although I cant remember if Brad Pitt actually wears it.

And Ryan gosling has a couple of vintage Omegas

He does seem to have a few, although that’s a Memovox he’s wearing in the pic.

I noticed Antoni Porowski of "Queer Eye" on Netflix wearing a Speedmaster DSOTM. I googled it and in an interview he said:

"I’m obsessed with Omega Constellation watches from 1950 and the Omega Speedmaster from 1955. I finally got to head to the Omega store on Fifth Avenue, and now I’m the proud owner of a Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon black sports watch."

Well, he may not know the Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 😝
