Watched Charlie Wilson's War for the second time last night, Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance is particularly good in this, but it looks like Tom Hanks's character (Charlie Wilson for those who haven't seen it) was wearing a gold omega on a leather strap, but I couldn't figure out if it was a constellation or something else, did anyone else notice this?

Antoni from Queer Eye is an Omega Ambassador, so it’s no surprise he always has an Omega on. It was fun to see this one though- Apollo 11th 35th anniversary at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Having just enjoyed perusing this thread, one I was hoping to see but didn't... Cillian Murphy's personal watch is the same as mine, a Railmaster 36mm. He's owned it for at least a decade so probably since new back in 2007-2012, it was originally the brown leather reference 2804.52.37 but at some point he swapped it to a black leather strap. Most recently spotted at the Oppenheimer premiere:

Also, Ryan Reynolds has been doing a lot of Deadpool & Wolverine press in a very fancy moonshine gold and green dial Speedy, reference 310.60.42.50.10.001.

'Ol Jessa is showing a fair gut in that pic, definitely a total eclipse of the penis or a verandah over the toy shop situation happening there,
or as I like to say : "You need a big hammer to drive a big nail!"

Of course top of that list is none other than Jeremy Clarkson.

Just a follow up to this that I was perusing some old Top Gear episodes and spotted James May also wearing this reference 2806.52.37! Guess he really liked Jezza's. This was in 2009, probably would have been around the peak of the oversized watch craze, but the 49 mm Railmaster XXL was pushing it even back then.

Jeremy in the same episode...

EDIT: I did some internet super sleuthing on this because I was curious if maybe James had just borrowed Jeremy's. Can categorically say that no, they both have their own. The first episode of the season (S14E01, 2009) they do a road trip episode, and they're both wearing theirs in the same shoot. They also both likely still own them, as they've both been seen around a decade later in The Grand Tour, and James apparently also wore his in Our Man in Italy (2020) according to Reddit. Jeremy's appears on screen episodes earlier, so James evidently liked it enough to copy him. Was this worth the half an hour of research? You decide... 😜

(...no it wasn't.)

James May also wearing
In S16 E4, James wears a 196.0052 Albatross.

Both him and Hammond wear the most variety of watches and brands. Clarkson essentially only wore his Omega’s throughout the entire series. I think in one episode he even makes a joke that he should be sponsored by them. Early in the series, he regularly wore his blue SMP. Later in the series, he essentially only wears his Planet Ocean. In one of their adventure episodes he walks a local market, finds a fake Omega, and compares it against his PO.

Both him and Hammond wear the most variety of watches and brands. Clarkson essentially only wore his Omega’s throughout the entire series. Early on he primarily wore an early Bond SMP, the Railmaster briefly, but the watch that got the most wrist time was his Planet Ocean. I think in one episode he makes a joke that Omega should sponsor him. Later in the series he walks a market and finds a fake PO and compared it against his genuine one.

I like that Jeremy has a genuine connection to Omega. It's easy for celebrities to slap a pricey watch on their wrist and not think twice about it but Jeremy is wearing that same rubber strap PO in the last episode of The Grand Tour, and he also appears to still own the Railmaster though it rarely appears these days. That only comes from a genuine connection.

Adam Savage has a similar thing with a couple of his Omegas, although apparently he's had abysmal luck with his because he's mentioned several times they're often in for service. He bought his PO chrono as a life milestone marker for Mythbusters, which is also what I do with my watches.

Yeah Adam has an early 3313 POC which has gone down 3 times now.

At least he isnt making excuses for his fake speedmasters now.
