I don’t have any link of the news in English to share but there have been several people arrested for having faked and sold literally hundreds made from scratch and aged « vintage » Porsche cars including examples sold privately and in auctions for hundreds of thousands or even millions of Euros.

Ex-Porsche employees shared chassis numbers with fakers and corrupted government employees allowed the fakers to get homologation paperwork.

They faked everything, from the chassis to the papers, including the « provenance » and stories around the cars they made from scratch.

Sounds familiar, for us vintage watch nerds, doesn’t it? 😗

Well spotted ;-) had that little truck for 18 years.
Many have come and gone since, but that one has always remained. Not the fastest, or the most expensive, but I built myself and it puts a smile on my face!

Big time VW guy here so I get it hah. I would love to have a Caddy with a VR swap. Or 1.8T. Or diesel hah.
They are hard to come by, at least half decent ones.

@kov - that's nuts!

A H6 Subaru Outback

My father has been using Subaru's ever since I was a baby, 30 years and going, he had an Impreza WRX, now an STI, my mother has a 98 Outback, I guess I'm more from my mother's side, as my car is an Outback too 😀

Perfect car for Ankara as normal roads are pretty offroad here too, lots of bumps

I love Yokohama's new Geolandar G015's - had them for 3+ years, all season and offroad, makes 200+ km/h onroad with ease - I really hate getting tires changed, you can put these tires on and keep them until they fall apart

I am not driving much of anything these days with working from home.

I have a Sentra parked in the driveway and a Miata in the garage. I used to commute 60km each way and the Miata would see15,000 km in a normal year. Last year, I put it on the road all it got was1,500 km.

Jag FType
Car interior looks like the watch I just purchased

Nice. One of the options I looked at. The coupe had such poor visibility out the back...found the convertible to be much better. In the end, previous Jaguar experience killed the desire to have another, so stuck with BMW again.

How has the reliability been?

Really good. Have had no huge issues so far. One return to dealer for a fuel filler neck issue- quick fix. I am really happy with the fit and finish- interior is very nice. Had it graphene coated- and it really makes the colour pop
