I bought a watch not long ago, with radium dial. Before doing so, I wanted a Geiger reading but Seller didn't have one.. So I mailed him one. 馃榾 . Figured on a 5 figure watch purchase, $100 was not much to invest.

But yeah, it's a nice looking watch. Put me on the list of buyers who can ease your pain.

I have two stunning and untouched ( I think) 14755-61. Movement nr. 19025***. With only 8 SN difference. Both produced in November 1962 and shipped to Italy. Both with extract of archives. One bought in Florence some years ago ( was one of the first entered in my collection 馃グ) and one in Sicily this year.
They have tritium on the dials and the same patina. My conclusion is that at some point in the 14755-61 production Omega replaced the radium with the tritium.. Sorry for the blurry and horrible photo..
Nico.

... I discussed this with one of our very knowing OF seamaster experts who felt that the dial could possibly still be all original even though no real geiger jump. Maybe he was just being nice 馃榾
.
I think we鈥檇 all remember reading a thread where someone here was being nice instead of brutally honest 馃槈
