Someone is getting itchy to buy a 145.012. I wish I were looking for one as they are the next most common model after the cal 861 145.002 st69. But if you're looking for that perfect 67, I'm sure it can take some time. Finding one with indices that have a nice patina without having been damaged or scraped is not as easy. Finding one with a very nice correct bezel is even tougher, and if you want the orig. hands with orig. lum....still tougher, but that would be true of any cal 321. Personally, if I had to have only ONE vintage Speedmaster, I'd probably go with a nice Ed White 105.003. They aren't terribly difficult to find, and they sell for about a grand more than a comparable 67 model. I like the straight lugs and the pro-less dial. It has also been to the moon and was THE FIRST (worn by an American, anyway) watch to take part in an extra-vehicular excursion. But if your heart is set on a 67, it will come along. The one I have came to me with the orig. bracelet, but I have no interest in steel bracelets, so I sold it. I don't care a lick about having the period correct bracelet. I like leather...looks and feels better. (In my humble opinion, of course.) The dial indices on mine are too white to be unmolested, I think. But the dial is def. legit. I am still not convinced that tritium can remain super white after 40 yrs...and I've seen some very slick work when it comes to re painting them with aged paint/lum. I'm sure the same could be done with white if one wished it. I'll continue to assume that any that are very white have been scraped...at least a little.
