Good Night Gentlemen,

I’m here for asking you a question:

Do you know any watchmaker or reseller (preferably in UK or EU) where I can buy an Omega Seamaster 300 ref. 166.0324 with confidence??

I saw some watches on eBay but first of all, they doesn’t look right to me and secondly there is always a risk that the movement is not serviced or the watch is not assembled properly.

Thank you very much for any suggestions.

I'm fairly certain there's one for sale on this forum. Unless it's not updated, it was posted earlier this month.

The SM300 is one of those watches where there is no shortcut. You have to do your due diligence for any example you are considering. Just because a dealer is reputable, they still can (and do) make mistakes. They can’t be expected to know everything about all watches. The onus, as always, is on the buyer.

Fully agree. Do your due diligence, ask questions and don't bid (or worse BIN) if you are not sure what you are doing.

You do realize that a 166.0324 is a service caseback and usually signifies that the SM300 is a "Watchco" type put together.

Yes, of course... the 166.024 is pretty expensive... for one of those I have to sell all my collection.
