    Vintage Omega Seamaster 300 ref.165014
This is the earlier version of the more common 165024 dive watch and is one of the original 60s dive watches created by Omega at the same time as Rolex were making their Submariner.
The waterproof rating is 200M although as with any vintage watch I would recommend having it pressure tested with a good watchmaker before diving with it.
This model is fitted with the Omega 552 automatic movement which is original to the watch and runs well. It looks to be in great condition but I do not have the service history.
The dial is completely original with a matte black finish and faded lume indices. A lot of watches for sale have been re-dialled and whilst they look nice with a lovely colour lume are not original. Of course if you want to have the dial re-lumed there are plenty of skilled professionals that can do that very reasonably.
The bezel insert is not original as it should have countdown markers on it. It looks to be filled with a hard plastic/bakelite/enamel which I believe was done many years ago (I have owned the watch for around 6 years) but looks great. It is very rare to find one of these watches with the original insert as they were very fragile and were broken. There are specialist people that can re-fill the bezel to look exactly like the original.
The crystal has the Omega logo in the centre.
The crown is a service replacement as it doesn't have the flat feet but is a genuine Omega crown
The Omega extract of archives shows that the watch was produced in August 1966 and shipped to Israel
Overall this watch is in a good honest original condition

The watch will be supplied as head only

The watch is currently in Ireland and will be shipped from there so there would be no import duty for any EU residents

Price is £4850 including shipping and insurance to EU and UK - for other countries there would be a small surcharge

It has been suggested that because of the date of delivery and the fact that it was delivered to Israel there is a good possibility that this was issued to the IDF
