Can you assess the quality of the case? I can't... overexposed pictures are the oldest trick to show off a watch without revealing defects.
Looks darned good to me. I know there are fakes out there but this is the Dink. They, the Marine Star, are also never cheap.
I really don't think it is a fake. I'm just saying I can't say anything about the case looking at those pictures... Maybe very good, maybe scratched (they say it is), maybe overpolished.
The bezel is worn around the "15". Right now everyone wants mint watches only. These along with the Zenith Cairelli and Excelsior Park Monte Carlo seem to have cooled lately.

Case looks fine, dial and hands also. Bezel obviously not great - has anyone ever seen a “spare” bezel for one of these? For me, price is too high.
Then you've seen one more than me! A while back there was an otherwise very nice isssued Cairelli for sale that hung out on Ebay and other sites for quite a long stretch - was missing the original bezel. Could have been bought for a song ... IF you had a bezel. Base 1000s are easy compared to these.
I bought mine NOS around 10 years ago on Joseph watch website. If I recall well, there were close to 8 to sell at the same time, and the most important, in the same condition.
