Vintage Ernest Borel (Synchron) Diver Aquastar Dial on Hodinkee Strap

This is a very cool, early 70's, Ernest Borel diver, featuring an Aquastar style trapezoidal dial, with date tastefully placed at 6 o'clock. Solid steel case, 36mm in diameter, excluding signed Synchron crown and marked on the caseback "Super Water Resistant Tested 600 Feet". The aged tritium lume dots on the jet black dial look amazing, as does the arrow sweep. Dial is excellent - all marks showing are on the crystal. There is some minor crazing on the original acrylic crystal. Slim 11mm case thickness. Bezel is ratcheted at 5-minute markers. Watch is in working order, date changes at midnight, but service unkown. It comes on a high quality, unworn, 19mm Hodinkee "Brown Rustic Cow Leather" strap that pairs very nicely. US$650, includes shipping/paypal Canada/US.
