Bulova Marine Star in excellent vintage condition as shown
Stainless Steel Case ~ 42.5mm, screw-down crown, and 22mm lug width
Valjoux caliber 7731 serviced in 2016
Keeping good time and all chronograph functions working

>>PLEASE NOTE<< shortly after the initial posting of this ad, I noticed an issue with the winding mechanism slipping. I’ve since had the winding issue checked by a well-regarded vintage specialist & and have now heard back. Winding works fine if you’re gentle with it, and it will wind fully, but the crown/tube will be need to be replaced at some point down the road. How long? Who knows & depends on how often it is worn and how hard you wind it. Watch may work for years if worn sparingly and care is taken winding, or it may fail tomorrow and need fixing.
>> ADDITIONAL NOTE 6/1<< It has been just been noted to me by another member that there is no longer lume on the dial, only the underlying paint. My sincere apologies to the forum for missing this one - it will obviously affect value.

Was US$4500, now US$3500 >> SEE ABOVE NOTES & MAKE ME AN OFFER<< Payment via bank wire, includes USPS priority shipping within the USA, outside TBD.
No warranty & No Returns.

Thank you all. Divesting all but a handful of my watches in coming months, if you had a dibs, now's the time to drop me a note. All can be found in the general and military WRUW threads. Cheers!

If I hadn't *just* wired the (hefty amount of) cash to land a grail of mine, this would be mine... it's absolutely killer!

GLWS!

I withdrew this watch from sale a few days after posting, as I noticed an issue with the winding mechanism slipping a bit during winding. I’ve since had the winding issue checked by a well-regarded vintage specialist & and heard back today. Winding works fine if you’re gentle with it, and it will wind fully, but the crown/tube will be need to be replaced at some point down the road. How long? This is a really fine example visually as you can see from the photos above. And mechanically, other than the winding issue, works like a champ. Easy to find a crown/tube that will work, harder to find one visually similar, correct one might take some luck. I’m not up for a parts hunt, so make me a offer if you’re interested.

Taking offers through the weekend. I've had a couple of surprises on this one, and apologies for it - I much prefer to have everything disclosed up front. Please read the notes in the ad carefully.
