Bucherer, the undervalued brand

The Bucherer divers watch I received as a gift in 1971. Has an ETA 2472 25 jewel movement. Had the dial refinished in 2008 by Stoll(authorized Bucherer repair center). They were great! Watch has been a pleasure to own. An of all the fine watches I own, this is the only one that gets noticed frequently when i wear it in public.
The other is a BSwiss Prestige Moonphase. SW200 with Dubois Depraz. Also a pleasure to own and way underpriced. Looks like many of the same parts as the Carl F Bucherer upper end watches. I recommend this brand!

Looks like two lovely watches, however— I mean no offense— but your pictures are terribly blurry and won't allow any of us to properly appreciate them.

If you're using a smartphone, I recommend standing the phone on a book or a mug to stabilize it and tapping the screen to focus on the watch before snapping!

A lot of the old Bucherers are great, they are often Bucherer branded great Swiss watches. I have a few myself, some of them are better than others.

I appreciate the feedback. These pictures should be better

Nice! Wasn’t familiar with the 6992 model but it looks great!

I have a “pinch waist” interesting case design and another bumper style movement. Both of them look real sharp.

Below is my favorite.

Looks great! Vintage designs have held up well. Elegant and unique.

i feel like a lot of things from the 70s held up well design wise. Classic muscle cars are a good example

I am not sure I would agree with the point that they are undervalued, for those of us who are interested in watches I think most like and appreciate them. In the wider world, there are people who have only heard of Casio, Seiko and Rolex. My colleague said he thinks he had heard of Omega when he saw mine, but nearly fell off his chair when, after he asked, I told him how much the watch cost. Yours is beautiful, I like the red bezel and blue dial combination.

Their modern range offering is pretty darn amazing if you ask me, except their diver whose name I forgot... The rest offers amayzing looks and value for money.

I love that diver watch, especially the hands, congratulations for that. I had a few pieces, but only some simple dress watches. It is a shame they didn't get that appreciation what they deserve
