During my week-long tour of a few interesting wrist watch brands, another short visit to Breitling near Grenchen Airport - Kanton Solothurn.
As I indirectly hinted in 3 earlier posts, Breitling opened a Pop-UP museum in Zurich but by next year Breitling will have its own permanent museum focusing on the rich sports, aviation & aerospace history of the brand in the largest city of Switzerland - Zurich (Züri).

Meanwhile, may I point out this interesting article with Mr Gregory Breitling:

Is that a Spitfire on their roof? So what has a Spitfire to do with Breitling?

Wiki suggests the Swiss Airforce used a mixed fleet of US made Mustang P51d and German Messerschmidt Bf 109 during WW2.

Wiki mentions that they were happy to bring down both allied and axis forces that strayed into Swiss airspace during those years.

Hope you had a nice trip

@GarethS
It's a mockup, not a real warbird... but they have a general aviation fixed-wing Piper Archer flying around...
