Congrats. Agree that Omega really hit the bullseye with this one. Everything gels with the 321, nothing jarring, out of place or cheap looking. I've had mine for just over six months, it's a pleasure to pick it out of my box as the next one in rotation to wear. The only nit pick I have with it is the box, just the normal, old suitcase style with extra straps, springbar tool, loupe, paper weight medallion. Just seems too average for this watch. Omega could have done better. Certainly no deal breaker though.

I completely agree with your post. It all gels really well. I had some worries about the ceramic, sapphire and vintage dial combo right when it was announced, but it all works great together! The bracelet looks very vintage live. Amazing stuff. Such a class piece.
They should have made a box specifically for it. The watch really deserved something nicer. Can you imagine a nice wooden custom box with Speedmaster 321 burned into it?
I’m absolutely in love with it.

Congratulations! I wasn't sold on it when it came out, but seeing one in person completely changed my mind! It is such a beautiful piece!

Congratulations!

Been on the list 2 years now, feel the best option is to just purchase a pre-owned. Chicago boutique claims they haven't seen one this year.

I unfortunately think so too. Seems like boutiques are lucky to get 2 a year and the lists are long.

I think if more vintage Speedy freaks could see this live, there would be a lot more love for it. It’s a gem.

If you live in the US, there are some decently priced BNIB versions in Europe selling for like $19,500 or less due to the current FX rate.

Long weekend vacation in europe, flying home with it on the wrist - sounds like the move

Glad to see our 321EW on Omega's 2022 Speedmaster poster ::psy::

FYI, pictured here is the lower section of the poster. Although I didn't try to compare, I'm pretty sure the upper section matches the contents of their 2017 60th Anniversary poster.

Quick question, though it may have been addressed earlier in the thread. When I received my 321, it arrived in the smaller presentation case. No loupe or extra straps.

I’m familiar with the larger sized (1861) Speedmaster presentation boxes which seem to accompany other 321s posted here. Though it’s a very minor issue, is it possible to acquire the larger 321 box with the accessories?

The correct box for the steel Ed White 321 is the old style 'suitcase' box with the extra straps, tool, loupe, and extra 321 booklet. For completeness, and to preserve its value, I would want that entire package. Talk to your boutique or AD. The platinum and Canopus models have different boxes.

Make sure you get it. They are $600+ alone.

Actually, I think platinum is the same box as the steel one. The Canopus model has its own custom wood box.

The Canopus 321 seems to be a unicorn, haven’t heard of any being delivered yet

I've seen one person say they received one in Europe on Instagram.

Parroting what I’ve learned here, and possibly redundant to what you already know: none of these presentation boxes are delivered to the dealers “with” the watch, but instead the dealers will have an existing stock of the various presentation box options that are variously prescribed to “go with” specific watches. The watches themselves arrive in a small plastic coffin, along with paperwork/booklets, and the dealers then use those materials to populate a presentation box they pull out of their stock.

Which is all to say, the big box is supposed to come with the NEW321, and someone at the dealer either grabbed the wrong box or was out of the big boxes and limped you a small one. They owe you a big box instead.

Hi, could someone please tell me the lug width of the 321? I'm considering buying one in the UK and would immediately swap out the bracelet for a leather strap. Many thanks!
