I had a deposit down but I am passing. I like it but I don't love it, hopefully someone that does love it will get my spot in line and enjoy it.

I have a deposit and am first with a very trusted AD. It looks great to me. I don’t like two tone particularly but this does not look like that. I think it looks great and am looking fwd to seeing in the metal. My wife hates gold, but likes this. Go figure.

We will see. But I’d rather have this than a tacky two tone Rolex. (My opinion only, no responses required)
I agree with you. It doesn't look two tone to me either...that's why I really liked it. The off center OMEGA under the applied logo is a concern. I had some QC issues with my LE SMP as well. I, too, am looking forward to seeing it in the flesh!

My 2019 Seamaster too has the E not aligned with the logo, and there’s a reason for me; at least it’s obvious to me: the O and the G have the same width but the M and the A don’t, because the M is wider than the A.
So, for a correct symmetry the E at the center of the word, between the OM wider than the GA, has to be towards the GA.
Another option would be having an A with the same width of the M, but for me it wouldn’t be good.

It’s not off center. Look at your dial, mate!

What’s with the huge A in Omega on the dial. Can’t not notice it once I saw it.

And the 12 hour marker looks phallic - un-see that!

Haha...I wasn't implying my SMP was off center...I was referring to the 50th Moonwatch. The issues I had with my SMP were misaligned bezel insert, tantalum piece on band was not flush with the case. 😀

I like it , looks classy , not a daily wearer though . Think it will look even better in the flesh and on the wrist . I’m in the market for a speedy this year as it’s my 60th in November. This could be the one , although price is above budget , but that never stopped me in the past
.😀

And by the look of it, the E isn’t centred under the middle of the applied logo

My impression is the "OMEGA" is centered on the dial, but the "E" is not in the center because the letter "M" is wider than the letter"G".

The "E" in ewand's photo of the 105.012 dial also doesn't look to me to be centered either. The left side of the "E" is even with start of the left side of the opening in the Ω while the right side sticks out beyond the right side of the opening. 😀

I don’t speak and write well in English, but I was meaning just what you said, please read my post before, with my explication that this seemingly off center is not an off center at all. It’s not an issue. It’s not poor QC.
In my second post I replied to you saying that if you think that this Speedy has the OMEGA off center, look at the dial of your watch: I bet it has the same off center OMEGA. But it’s not off center, it’s his normal position.
Look at mine:

From a 105.012 ...

The E on the 105.012 seems to look more symmetrically aligned under the applied logo to my eyes than it does on the 50th. I suspect just a different size font is causing a minor misalignment. It’s certainly no big deal.

Personally, and any minor pedantic points aside, the 50th just isn’t floating my boat, especially at that price point.

And why was it that Omega didn’t put in cal. 321? This would be the most obvious watch to put it in.

Pictured watches are most likely early non-working prototypes for photographic purposes, production dials would likely be corrected. We'll see.

Cost of production, and Omega wants to look forward and not wallow in the past.

Not a fan and I'm happy that is the case as I'd rather focus on other watches at present. The more limited all moonshine gold version is much nicer. Still this is nice and could have been better. A few things I'd change:

-Not a fan of the image sub dial. Image itself is... and I just don't like an image there whatsoever. This really kills the watch for me.
-Don't like the "11". Roman numeral probably would have been better, but would prefer just the normal marker.
-Don't like that slate greyish tone to the center of the dial. Should have just been all black. This also kinda kills the watch for me.

Some things I like:

-Love the two-tone.
-Love the caseback.
-Like the bracelet.
-Love the whole kit/box.

If they would have done this in the two-tone and no little frilly features on the dial I'd be interested. Instead I'll just enjoy my 45th anniversary edition.
