Wow, where did you get it ? They only sell them through the Lego website since yesterday here... Ordered one.

Will be perfect next to the Saturn V...

Yes, purchased from Lego store in U.S. Interesting that it came with a patch as does the Omega 50th (well, two patches). What am I going to do with all of these patches?

Looks great next to the Saturn V. I'm envisioning the Omega 50th on its Lunar Module stand beside them!

Anyone who buys this LE will be able to go to an OB and order a bracelet. Of 6969 people getting one, my guess is many will do so and they’ll be available FS before too long.

    I thought so.

Well I suppose there were a few other things in 1969 that we could be using as an excuse to party. Maybe Omega are being canny, as the 9 o’clock sub-dial can be swapped out...

They could swap Buzz for something representing:-
Boeing 747 first flight, BAC-Aérospatiale Concorde maiden flight and first supersonic flight, Hawker Siddeley Harrier entry into service, 100th anniversary of Alcock and Brown's crossing of the Atlantic, Hawker Siddeley Nimrod entry into service, Woodstock Festival or just keep things plain childish with Sesame Street.

No, It’s definitely about "the space nonsense"

Its Beaverbrooks in Trafford Centre, i had an invite to attend but i'm away on holiday ::facepalm1:: same happened last year, i enquired about the watch the day Omega released details and they said they were taking 20% deposits and sent me the form to fill in which states it doesn't guarantee a watch and the deposit is refundable, i didn't bother in the end as i'm still not sure on it

OK cheers for the response, hope the 20% deposit does guarantee a watch as I have my heart set on this now.

Only if they can be retrofit to an older case, and we don't know if this is possible. Even if they are compatible you'll find very few on the secondary market, most owners of the 11 will also own other Speedmasters that they will fit this on. It's just a dream to think these will come on the market in any quantity, maybe a few but that's all.

Yes, that's likely. I guess somebody trying to order their fifth "replacement" bracelet would raise some eyebrows...

Still not convinced. The 3861 movement is so far removed from the original 321/861/1861. The ‘milk ring’ on the sapphire. Not sure on Buzz. It may be different in the flesh. Does it boil down to ‘are you a hesalite or sapphire’?
The gold looks great. It would be good to see it next to the Tokyo 2020’s for comparison.
