    Hello,

I’ll looking to change my strap on my FOIS. I’m edging towards Forstner Flat Line bracelet in polished/brushed. My only concern is, that in photos i’ve seen, the end-link doesn’t always look like it sit flush with the case and first link of the bracelet. Does anyone have fist hand ownership experience of this bracelet.

Secondly, i’m wanting a black nylon strap (not NATO) similar to the one that is offered on the 2021 moonwatch. Is the moonwatch 19mm lug? If so when will the straps be available from an AD? Is there any other companies that supply high quality nylon straps?

    Thanks in advance.

Thank’s for the heads up! Certainly worth looking at.

Also, Uncle Seiko has several aftermarket bracelets that fit the FOIS. I have the flat link (brand new unused still) and the 1471 bracelet which is currently on my FOIS.

I have Uncle Seiko, and despite the end link fits pretty well, I' not 100% satisfied with their straight shape, so I,'ve ordered Forstner ones to try (only end links).
I would wait also to see new US 1145 model.

PXL_20210419_063847748.jpg Just installed a Forstner flat link bracelet on my FOIS and I'm loving it. So comfortable. The stretchy links on the bracelet really help. Also, I think mine is the latest version as it only has one long screw which goes through the whole link rather than two screws as I've seen on some reviews. Makes resizing the bracelet less fiddly. Highly recommended.

In the end I ordered whole Forstner bracelet, because mixing Forster end links with Uncle Seiko didn't fit perfectly.
Forstner end links look much better in my opinion, as they are not straight at the bottom, but "female".

Agree with you on the Forstner end links. It's what finally swayed me towards them rather than US. I feel that it provides the bracelet with a nicer curve as it approaches the watch case.

Agree also. I really enjoyed the US, and their customer service is top-notch, but the Forstner is a better fit for the FOIS overall and looks more integrated in design and on my wrist, anyway. It's an excellent package and accentuates the vintage look feel for the better, IMO.
