Hey all
I am totally new to the vintage scene. I was wondering if you thought this was legit?

REAL. Easiest way to tell is the Lume Pip at 12 o' clock. Here is a pic of the fake.

That only means the that the insert is incorrect, it says little about the main part of the watch 馃榾

IMO, the best way to tell if the watch is okay is to look how the HE-valve is posiitoned; on fakes it is placed directly in line with the ten o'clock marker and on correct ones it is placed slightly above that marker - like on this one.

Another pointer I've noticed is the position of the "waves".

Fakes usually have the wave pattern nicely centred so that the absolute centre of the dial is on the crest (or in the trough, can't remember which).
Genuine dials are slightly offset.

But aftermarket bezels do exist and they also look off even if they are installed on an otherwise good watch.

It really is funny how often it is the lume pip that is off on fakes. You would have thought that they'd spent some extra effort getting it right!

I believe it's an original one, if I look at the dial.
