The watch looks pretty good to me except the V shape 12 hour mark - I cant find a watch like this.. Every watch of this kind has II mark on 12 hours. What happened? Is the dial original or not? (Maybe even the watch is original or not?)

Yeah, that’s an odd one. Besides the V at the top, the dots are too close to the minute track, it’s missing the white surround on the date window, and Swiss Made should be on the outside of the minute track. Maybe a redial? But the text looks correct to me. Or from another Seamaster model? But I can’t find another 70s or 80s era Seamaster with that dial.

The rest of the watch looks ok. It is a conundrum. Do you have any pictures of the movement?

The rest looks perfectly genuine but the dial has definitely been messed with and is basically a sub copy, perhaps inspired by the Mercedes hands. I like it a lot but there is zero chance it is original with that sloppy text. Note the missing bezel pip. Original bezels are not obtainable separately any more so unless you can find one to fit you are stuck with a hole there. Unless you get a nasty aftermarket insert that is.

Looks to be a repainted dial I would say, aside from the lume plots joining the markers, note how that 12 triangle(which of course is already not correct) is off centre with the minute markers either side.

Dials are pretty important so I would look elsewhere personally, these watches aren't difficult to come by.

"these watches aren't difficult to come by."
Nice ones are surprisingly hard to come by in fact. Rough ones not so much.
