Personally, that is right up my alley. Absolutely beautiful piece. I would inclined to swap the rubber for a black alligator strap, however.

I'm undecided. The bezel in the pic looks plasticky....which it obviously isnt. Would need to see in person.

Mmm, let’s make a watch, but make it almost impossible to tell the time with it.

I see what you’re saying. It certainly isn’t particularly conventional. I like the rough, matte look but agree that an in-person look at the watch would definitely be required.

Looks cool, they’ve gotten better at these since the original Black-black Side of the Moon watch with Calibre 9300 which had really poor legibility. The textures on this really give it some character and allow you to read it a lot better.

It reminds me Carbon Fiber Aquaracer, one of those watches which I like on the photos but probably will never buy due to concerns about legibility.

I think it looks really nice, especially with those textures in the bezel and hands. Would be concerned about legibility too, would have to see it in person to tell for sure.

I do like the way that the dial text is carved in relief from the dial instead of being printed on. I assume that this is done by laser ablation. Given the size of the text, this is amazing precision.

I like that Omega is experimenting with Ceramic, i appreciate they've enriched the SM 300p line with more variety.

I really like all of the ceramic variations of the SMP. If Omega would make one in the regular steel SMP case size (or better yet the old 41mm case size) then I’d own one. As it stands though they are just too big for my 6.5 inch wrist. I’ve tried the ceramic/titanium version on several times trying to convince myself to pull the trigger, but just can’t due to the size.

This watch is stunning. I can't wait to see one in person. Think it would be amazing on a black Omega NATO

I think it would look really cool with the dial from the standard ceramic 300M, and would like the bezel insert from that as well. I'm not too into the bi-metal look of the standard one (black ceramic case + Ti bezel) but I'm also not into all-black watches either.

Omega really seems to be doing the old "Give them 75% of what they want but make them compromise on the rest, hopefully they'll just buy both" move that Rolex has perfected over the years, and I'm not feeling it.

It has anthracite Supa-LumiNova.

Does that really mean black (or grey) lume?

I do think it looks cool, just not at all practical for, you know, telling the time.

Ah, I looked for a lume shot and couldn’t find one.

That looks nice. If the edges of the hands pick up the light too, it might be more usable than I thought.

I went hands on with the Nekton, and it's laser ablated bezel, last week and was impressed with it's feel and look. While its bezel numerals and markers were smooth to the touch, I do worry they could be grunge accumulators, and this being black, it could look pretty nasty by the end of each day.

The lume looks pretty slick, and maybe this is much more legible in real life. Have to think we 50+ers aren't in this watch's demo!
