Black 14762, silver arrowheads

So after a long time searching, two rare birds fly in at once.

After my black dial silver arrowhead 2849 thread earlier, here is a black 14762 (super oddly the caseback reads 14752 is what I think is a factory error)

Not many of these around that is for sure.

Dealer photos:

Any ideas, with reference to that last photo, why the watch was advertised as a 14752? It is definitely a 14762. I think the seller misread the caseback. Or it’s a dodgy stamping. Or a genuine misprint. A mystery!

Some more pics. My other white gold shark tooth Seamaster (the 2849) is with James Hyman, due to be lumed on Monday.

Love to hear what you all think of this one!

Could it be that the watch 14762 original case back was lost or damaged and a 14752 case back was used instead?

I’d align with this theory - but if you look at a 14752, it’s a weird reference that uses a totally different case. It would not fit a 14762

I don't know. Here’s the best image that I could found for the 14752 case back:

It certainly looks to me like it might also fit for a 14762. Does it really matter as long as you’re happy with it?

My Caseback has a hippocampus tho - that reference doesn’t.

You’re showing 2 watches. I’m confused which one you’re asking about and which Caseback and movement photos belong to wgich

Refer to my first post - the thread is about the black silver shark tooth watch. This first post only has pictures of this watch
