Looking at the all blacked out version, it's interesting as I think about it amongst other blacked-out things (knives, pens, probably other stuff not in my orbit) because with this watch, I suspect it's offered for those who want to wear a conversation starter, and a lot less about giving a nod towards the tactical this-n-that paramilitary dudes. This is a big time flex piece, in a super nerdy way, maybe.
It would be interesting to hear the impromptu conversations started over this watch in social settings. I suspect Alcubierre warp drive discussions might dominate. 😉

·Personally, that is right up my alley. Absolutely beautiful piece. I would inclined to swap the rubber for a black alligator strap, however.
but then that would be shiny. looks like this is all about matte finishes.

·I do like the tactical look, but if tactical looks compromise on usability, I don't really get it.
Still looks pretty damn cool - but I wouldn't buy it at any price though.
