By removing the bezel you expose more of the lugs and crown guard area. It gives the watch a more utilitarian appeal. The symmetrical lines are rather sharp.
Also, the dial looks much cleaner without the bezel. Your eyes tend to focus more on the dial itself and not both.

·I've reached an age where I can't clearly see a watch when it's on my wrist. This one looks like a speedy without a bezel to me.

·It's interesting but I prefer it with the bezel. I did put a steel bezel on mine before going panda.
